It's truly an education back into the time period with authentic pieces that are over 800 years old and craftsman and women there to explain the items, answer questions and actually making stuff using the old time artifacts. I must say, the best part of the entire outing was the Midieval Village that you can walk through for FREE w/o even buying a ticket to the dinner show. They do need to work on the audio though, it was hard to understand/hear at times. The sword and jousting fights were really, really good. ![]() The show horses are very well taken care of and the riders were very skilled. The apple turnover is the best thing the meal has going for it. We of course knew this already so it was not a surprise. Chicken leg quarter, terrible Rib (just 1) very hard, awful tomato soup that tasted like watered down ketchup and a dry potato wedge. Ok I'm a sucker and can't say no to our child! The food is typical cafeteria type food. Then there are the pictures they take which are $15 or $20, we only bought 1 which was a nice family memory and good quality. We did spend $25 on a wooden shield and sword, which I must say is really nice quality. Caution if you have kids, they try to sell you everything. The seats were smack dab 50 yard line which was nice, but then again, there is not a bad seat in the house because the size of the venue. We bought the Royalty package, which I would NOT recommend. The show was good (a little long in some parts that I drifted off, but it kept our little ones interest) and entertaining. The building is very nice, clean and taken care of. You will have a great time and so will everyone else.We took our 7 year old to see the show and we all had a nice time. However, if this is your first time, you really should attend. After twice though now, should we make it down there again, we might try a different type of dinner theatre. Both times we went, kids loved it and talked about the action sequences. Not crazy good but better fare than one might come to expect from this type of event. Then you get half a chicken and a baked patato next. Tomato soup in a bowl and garlic bread is served first. ![]() Once inside you are seated around the arena gladiator style and servers come to your table spot. The bar is alway open in this land and throughout the night should you want drinks your server will bring this to you. There are some decent pricing on tshirts and hoodies too. As you can imagine, once inside there are many goodies your kids will want to get in the spirit of things, swords, axes, helms, and princess hats gallore. There is a fee should you wish to keep the photo and if you dont want it you can opt out. Once in, you will get a photo op with a knight should you wish it. ![]() Look above for the appropriate line up and it gets crowded inside the castle entrance. Make sure you are there at least 45 minutes ahead of time to get your tickets or trade in vouchers. It is certainly worth going to, at least once. We did the medieval time dinner theatre twice now and had fun each time. ![]()
